SIP Server Settings

Profile Name Up to 4 profiles can be created.
Proxy Server The FQDN or IP address of the SIP proxy server
Local SIP Port The SIP port used on the BT device
Preferred Transport Protocol If there are no valid responses to NAPTR queries specifying the transport protocols to be used, the BT device uses this configured setting to set up VoIP calls with the SIP server.
UDP | TCP | TLS
Enable Best Effort TLS Enable this feature if “Best Effort” TLS is acceptable. In this mode, if the next-hop SIP endpoint does not support TLS, the BT device will agree to use a non-secure communication channel for the SIP protocol.
Disable this feature when using TLS for secured communication is mandatory.
