IP VideoPhone Firmware Upgrade Notes
The InnoMedia IP VideoPhone allows you to upgrade your
videophone unit via a web browser. Simply follow the
instructions below and you can conveniently and efficiently
upgrade your videophone units from your desktop.
FIRMWARE VERSION
The firmware version numbers are as follows:
OS Ver. : vx05015rvc04010x
SW Ver. : au75202xvi04010x
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE UPGRADING
1) You will need the IP address of the videophone unit
that you are
upgrading. Press <System> --> <About>
to record down the IP address.
2) The profile will be erased after upgrading.
3) The phonebook entries will remain.
HOW DO I UPGRADE?
1) Use either one of the following browser:
a) Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and above
b) Netscape Communicator 4.7 and above
2) Open any of the above browser and type the URL as
:
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the
configured IP address
of the videophone unit you wish to upgrade.
3) You will see the homepage for network upgrade. Click
on the 'Upgrade
VideoPhone Software'.
4) You will enter a page where you are asked to enter
the User Name and
the Password. Enter the User Name as 'root' and the
Password as
'password'.
5) Upon entering the correct user name and password,
you are required to
select the .net file, which you have saved earlier,
for uploading.
6) Once the file is selected, press Upgrade to begin
upgrading.
7) You will see a message that informs you that the
upgrading process is
completed.
8) Once the upgrade process is successfully completed,
the videophone will
automatically be rebooted.
9) Go to <Systems> --> <About> to verify
that the version numbers are as
follows:
