NEC do Brasil
to Distribute InnoMedia's InfoGate Family of Products to the Rapidly
Expanding
Brazilian VoIP Market
appliances and business solutions, has expanded its worldwide product availability by entering a
distribution agreement with NEC do Brasil, a leading supplier of business communications solutions
to the Brazilian market. Under the multi-year agreement, NEC do Brasil will distribute and service
InnoMedia's InfoGate™ family of products throughout Brazil.
InnoMedia's InfoGate family of products is ITU standard-compliant VoIP solutions that enable corporations
with multiple locations to achieve significant savings in their long distance telephone charges. Designed to interface to existing PBXs and data networking products, the InfoGate family of products are innovative
voice-over-IP solutions that seamlessly route long-distance calls placed from ordinary telephones over the Internet or a dedicated IP network.
InfoGate includes expandable four-port analog cards, with corresponding Gateway and GateKeeper
software. InfoGate is engineered to provide superior voice quality, system reliability, and scalability. Other advanced features include a centralized Gatekeeper, dynamic bandwidth allocation and an integrated
voice response system (VRS). The scalable solution enables corporate entities to cost effectively adopt
VoIP technology, and then "ramp up" as their cost reductions spurs new investment capabilities.
