FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

INNOMEDIA TAKES INTERNET TELEPHONY BEYOND THE INTERNET

Innovative InfoTalk Add-on Brings Internet Telephony To Any Phones Without Internet Access
On The Remote Site

LAS VEGAS, NV -- January 7, 1999 -- CCES Booth # 4749 LVCC North Hall -- InnoMedia today
expanded the boundaries of Internet telephony with the introduction of its new InfoTalk eXR. Connected to
InnoMedia's award-winning InfoTalk™ Internet telephony device, which seamlessly and transparently routes
long distance calls over the Internet, InfoTalk eXR enables users to make Internet calls to any remote
telephone even when the remote telephone does not have Internet access. InnoMedia has developed this
value-added module to provide InfoTalk users with Internet Telephony extended reach capabilities to regular
telephones, including mobile phones, that do not have an InfoTalk attached to them. The InfoTalk eXR
multiplies a users' savings, as they now enjoy the capability to place Internet calls to Multiple telephones
. InnoMedia is positioned to provide a breadth of Internet Telephony solutions that make long-distance
voice communication affordable and convenient for all types of users worldwide.

The InfoTalk eXR intelligently redirects Internet calls received by an InfoTalk to other local telephones
through use of a second phone line. The InfoTalk eXR requires two phone lines. One will be connected to
an InfoTalk for an Internet connection, while the second phone line will be used for call-outs. For example,
if one InfoTalk is installed in New York and the other InfoTalk is in Taipei, Taiwan, the caller in New York
can call to any local number in Taipei without long distance charges simply by leveraging the capability of
InfoTalk eXR together with the Taipei's InfoTalk. The InfoTalk eXR will reroute the InfoTalk call to any phone
within Taipei even if the other phone set does not have an InfoTalk connected. This is particularly useful for
calling mobile phones.

Built-in security may be customized to grant selected users with the ability to make calls beyond the local
area, resulting in reduced long distance charges when making international calls. This will give users the
ability to provide customized yet controlled access to other telephones. InfoTalk eXR will also come
equipped with the capability to track usage, this compliments the security process allowing users to
know who placed a call, at what time and where the call was placed to.

"InfoTalk revolutionized telephony by letting people use their standard telephones to talk over the Internet
without pre-scheduling their calls," commented Mr. Kai-Wa Ng, CEO of InnoMedia. "The InfoTalk eXR
greatly expands the cost savings of Internet telephony by bringing this capability to any remote telephone.
The InfoTalk eXR augments InnoMedia's robust Internet Telephony product line. Making Internet Telephony
technology accessible and usable from virtually every phone."

The InfoTalk eXR may be used stand-alone, letting users forward calls through their office, eliminating the
need for using calling cards to call long distance when out of the office. By doing so, long distance calls
can be consolidated under a single number whereby the greatest savings can be achieved.
