business solutions, and services, today announced InfoTalk® V, the
latest member of InnoMedia's award-winning InfoTalk family of products.
InfoTalk V is an Internet Telephony Appliance incorporating the latest
technologies for high quality Internet telephone calls and a multiple-language
user interface, including English, Chinese, and Spanish, with more languages
to be added in the near future.
Without requiring a personal computer, InfoTalk V seamlessly and transparently
routes long distance calls over the Internet. By simply connecting the
InfoTalk V between their normal analog telephone and the wall jack, users
are able to place calls anywhere in the world at very low rates, via InnoSphere™,
InnoMedia's global IP network. With the exception of any Internet connection
charges the user may incur, all Internet phone calls between any two InfoTalk
users around the world are 100% toll free using the SaveDial feature.
InfoTalk V includes an all-new small and portable look with an improved icon friendly user interface. Satisfying the communication needs of travelers, InfoTalk V supports up to five different Internet user profiles without requiring special login scripts. Thereby allowing business travelers and vacationers to place international calls from anywhere in the world for free or at dramatically reduced long distance rates.

Voice Quality Tuning, users have the option to control voice quality settings
themselves or instruct InfoTalk to adjust them automatically. InfoTalk
V includes a built-in 122x32 dot matrix LCD message display, status LEDs,
telephone line interface, and non-volatile memory to store preset data
when power is removed.
InfoTalk V will be available for delivery
in mid-April at a suggested retail price of US$249.95 through leading
distributors, retailers as well as directly from InnoMedia's Web site

V is also available as an OEM product, ideal for Cable/ADSL service providers
and Cable/ADSL modem manufacturers.
