Labs Testing Gives InnoMedia's InfoAccel Overall Grade of A-
San Jose, CA - March 1, 2000 - InnoMedia, Inc. a leading supplier of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) appliances, business solutions, and services, today announced that its InfoAccel™ product received Internet Telephony magazine's Editors' Choice award as tested by TMC™Labs. The plug-and-play InfoAccel, which combines the ease-of-use and voice quality of conventional telephones with the cost savings of Internet telephony, received an overall grade of A-.
InfoAccel was tested in TMC Labs, with technical editors evaluating the product's installation, documentation, features, sound quality and overall operation. InfoAccel's features received a grade of 4.5 out of a possible 5, and installation received a near-perfect 4.75.

InfoAccel can send and receive telephone calls over the Internet. If the sending and receiving PCs both have InfoAccel cards, the call is free. If only the sending machine has an InfoAccel card, the call is placed through InnoMedia's InnoSphere™service, at a considerably lower rate than conventional long distance.
In addition to providing the cost savings of Internet telephony, the InfoAccel achieves the unprecedented price point of only $99.95, making it easily affordable to all Internet users. The fully standards-based InfoAccel is H.323 Version 2.0 (Voice-over-IP), G.723.1 (speech compression) and G.168 (echo cancellation) compliant.
