INFOACCEL BRINGS THE EASE OF USE AND VOICE QUALITY OF ORDINARY TELEPHONES TO INTERNET TELEPHONY

Low Cost PCI Card from InnoMedia Revolutionizes VoIP

SAN JOSE, CA -- November 8, 1999 -- InnoMedia, Inc., a leading supplier of Voice-over-IP (VoIP)
appliances and business solutions, today announced the InfoAccel™ VoIP PCI card. The latest
addition to the award-winning InnoMedia family of VoIP products, the plug-and-play InfoAccel combines
the ease-of-use and voice quality of conventional telephones with the cost savings of Internet telephony.

Based on InnoMedia's advanced patent-pending hardware-based DSP technology, InfoAccel provides
a dramatic improvement over conventional Internet telephony solutions. InfoAccel brings digital voice
quality to the Internet, minimizing the latency and echoes usually associated with VoIP telephony.
Users simply plug their conventional telephone into the card to place and receive calls with their
telephone just as they normally would on the standard telephone network.

To use InfoAccel, users just pick up the telephone and dial to make an Internet phone call, or answer
the phone when it rings to receive an Internet phone call. InfoAccel's unique talk and surf capabilities
lets users maintain their Internet connection and continue to browse the Web while they place calls
anywhere in the world, or receive calls from other InfoAccel users. This practically eliminates the need
for a second telephone line.

"InfoAccel is the first Internet telephony product that delivers superior speech quality, and even allows
users to maintain their normal manner of placing and receiving calls," stated Dr. Nan-Sheng Lin,
president and co-founder of InnoMedia, Inc. "InfoAccel virtually eliminates the echoes, and voice
distortion which have historically plagued Internet telephony. The advanced architecture of InfoAccel
makes the difference between Internet telephony and conventional telephony completely transparent
to the end user."

In addition to providing the cost savings of Internet telephony, the InfoAccel achieves the unprecedented
price point of only $99.95, making it easily affordable to all Internet users. The fully standards-based
InfoAccel is H.323 Version 2.0 (Voice-over-IP), G.723.1 (speech compression) and G.168 (echo
cancellation) compliant. Unlike software-based Internet phone applications that use the computer's
sound card, the full-duplex audio system allows users to talk and listen at the same time and does
not penalize the PC's CPU or memory.

InfoAccel users may place Internet calls free of charge to other InfoAccel users anywhere in the world.
In addition, users can call standard telephones in the United States and over 200 countries around the
world through InnoSphere™, InnoMedia's global communications network for as little as: 2 cents per
minute to Hong Kong; 7 cents per minute to the USA; 10 cents per minute to France, Germany, UK
and Taiwan; 12 cents per minute to Australia; 15 cents per minute to Japan or Beijing, China; and 25
cents per minute to Mexico. These rates apply any time of day and there is no monthly service or setup
charges.

Combining the cost savings and reach of IP telephony with the reach of today's worldwide telephone
network, InnoSphere uses InnoMedia's InfoGate™ Internet Gateway technology to provide termination
services reaching all the conventional telephones in over 200 countries. With InnoSphere, users of
InfoAccel or any other InnoMedia VoIP product can place low-cost, high-quality international phone
calls to conventional phones at some of the lowest rates available in the industry.

InfoAccel will be shipping in mid-December at an SRP of $99.95. InfoAccel will be available directly
from InnoMedia's online store, other online and catalog resellers such as Damark and TigerDirect.com,
as well as VARs and System Integrators. InfoAccel requires a Pentium based or equivalent computer
with an available PCI slot, 16 MB RAM, CD-ROM, and Windows 95/98 and Windows ME, as well as a 28.8 kbps or faster Internet connection and standard touch-tone corded or cordless analog phone.
