Chih-Ping Lee, Ph.D.
Vice President, Market Development, US
Dr. Chih-Ping Lee has recently been promoted to Vice President
of Market Development. With his in-depth knowledge in product,
market and technology in IP Telephony, Dr. Lee will be working with
our global sales and product management groups for business
development
and partner alliance.
Dr. Lee's background includes more than fifteen years of
experience in
research and development. Prior to this role, Dr. Lee assumed the position of Vice President of Engineering at IMI and General Manager
for IMTI -
Subsidiary of InnoMedia Pte Ltd.
Prior to InnoMedia, Dr. Lee was the deputy
director of Multimedia Lab at the Institute for Information Industry
in Taipei,
Taiwan. During his tenure, he served as project manager for various
projects in3D/VR (Virtual Reality), image processing and multimedia.
From 1992 to 1995, Dr. Lee was senior project engineer for Black & Decker, where he
was responsible for the development of an expert system for process
control. Prior, Dr. Lee was a research scientist for UPS R&D Lab from
1989 to
1992, where he specialized in Robotics and Optical Character
Recognition.
Dr. Lee holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from
National Taiwan University, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering
and Computer Science (EECS) from Iowa State University
and a Ph.D. in EECS from the University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor.
